The Merida eOne Forty 400 is a dual suspension e-bike loaded Shimano's brand new EP8 Technology. The eOne Forty uses the same performance focused alloy frame as the eOne Sixty, with the Shimano E8036 630Wh (E8035 504Wh Battery for the small size) integrated into the frame for a clean look and balanced feel. The 630Wh offers 25% increase in capacity over the older 504Wh model, matched with the brand new Shimano EP8 Motor which replaces the older E8000 motor. It also packs a bigger punch with 85 Nm and is also lighter by 300 grams for a swift ride.
You know that the e-bike components on this bike are awesome, but so is the rest of the spec on this bike. The Suntour XCR34 LOR DS Fork brings 140mm travel to tame the trails and help give this bike some punchy personality when matched with the Suntour RS-Edge Rear Shock with 133mm travel. The Shimano Deore shifters and rear derailleur offer smooth shifting, while the Shimano M4100 Hydraulic Disc Brakes give you all of the stopping power to control this beast and ride with confidence. Add to that the hand picked Maxxis Rekon 29x2.4" Front Tyre/ Maxxis Rekon 27.5x2.6" Rear Tyre combination to ensure that this heavier full suspension e-bike offers precision, playfulness, and traction on the trails.
It's all finished off with a Merida Comp TR Dropper Post so that you can get out of your seat and really let it rip. All of this considered, the eOne Forty 400 is a well-balanced e-bike built to give you an authentic riding experience with advanced technology which is built to perform in the real world on the trails.
